Vaticinia, [ca. 1689-1700].

Manuscript created either before or after the publication of the book, consisting of prophecies concerning the papacy and the Catholic Church. Each prophecy is illustrated with a drawing in ink. The text includes material attributed to Joachim, Abbott of Fiore, and Anselm, Bishop of Marsico. The last pope caricatured is Alexander VIII (papacy 1689-1691). Vol. 1 is written on vellum, and bound in vellum; v. 2 is on paper, and bound in 18th-century brocaded paper wrappers.
